You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer or scientist applying system engineering principles to oversee radar or other sensor system development in a financially and time constrained environment without jeopardizing technical rigor.Examples may include:
(1) leading staff and technical reviews to a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and other system safety personnel
(2) advising and proposing technical recommendations to leadership on the development of state of the art Naval sensor systems
(3) collaborating with stakeholders on the development, update, and application of processes, methodologies, and analyses associated with sensor system engineering.
