THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC LEADER (T32), PD D2285P01 and is part of the RI 143d MXS RIANG. The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more employees who install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems.

Military Requirements: For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to lead other NG employees engaged in installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibrating, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes. Lead inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment. Ability to train, mentor, and solve problems. Able to conduct training presentations and briefings. Ability to assign work and monitor progress.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : In addition to the craftsman level knowledge, experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of and skill in this series sufficient to organize and direct the work of others. Experience which demonstrates an applicant's ability to provide guidance to others in analyzing the malfunctions encountered, devise repair procedures and perform the repairs or, if extensive repairs are needed, provide instructions to employees. Experience which demonstrates an applicant's ability to instruct others in studying technical data and equipment specifications to determine the impact that equipment modifications or substitutions will have upon total system operation and on the various maintenance and alignment procedures.
