THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC (T32), PD D1525000 and is part of the RI 143d AMXS. Its purpose is to act as the crew chief with responsibility for directing the total maintenance effort on individually assigned aircraft. If the selected applicant does not qualify for the full potential grade, he or she may be brought on in the Developmental grade of WG-08, PD# D0489000 or WG 10, PD# D1366000.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible AFSC/MOS per statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE :
Must have experience or training that has provided the candidate with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. Must have experience in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
Must possess journey-level experience or training equivalent to or exceeding the WG-10 to include performing duties as a dedicated crew chief.
Must have experience performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers.
Must have experience in coordinating the work of other journey-level workers in other trades to work simultaneously on the aircraft.
