You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (Vendor/Storage Management) in the Navy Household Goods/Personal Property Shipping Office (HHG/PPSO) of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates knowledge and application of transportation/traffic management principles, methods, and regulations in order to resolve problems in connection with the storage and movement of personal property such as household goods, privately owned vehicles, etc. by government or commercial means. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Utilizing automated systems to process personal property shipments; 2) Calculating, reviewing, and approving shipment costs, billing statements, and invoicing functions; 3) Preparing shipping documentation which may include determining excess cost; 4) Providing customer support while performing shipment and storage functions.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
