You will serve as a MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT MCLANT of CDR SEALIFT LOGISTICS CMD ATLANTIC.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Experience with MSC organization, as well as its operational, tactical, and administrative relationships with Fleet Commanders, Mission Sponsors, USTRANSCOM and its component commanders, the maritime Administration and the Coast Guard. Experience supporting MSCLANT operations include review/draft message traffic; represent MSCLANT at fleet forces command, augment various MSCLANT departments as required by operations officer. Experience coordinating, planning and maintaining movement visibility of vessels utilized in accomplishing MSCLANT's mission. Experience operating computers in a local area network, using common office software applications including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint and database. Experience reviewing casualty reports and special incident reports in order to maintain or modify long and short-range schedules to meet emergent requirements or to mitigate operational impact of unplanned events.
