In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Must have experience performing the following duties: Managing or leading a business activity, to include planning programs, training employees, formulating budgets, maintaining inventory, supplies, and retail items, marketing events, and providing excellent customer service; conducting a full range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on motor vehicles; and delegating the work of other automotive workers to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must successfully complete a favorable Tier I background investigation.
- Must have and maintain valid US driver's license.
- A pre-employment drug test is required and the incumbent is subject to random drug testing thereafter.
- A pre-employment physical exam is required to ensure the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and endure the physical vigor of the position.
