You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Mariner Skills Training Center, Atlantic, Norfolk, VA of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL located in Norfolk, VA.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Review, plan, and coordinate space utilization for the command to determine facility space, safety, environmental, and HAZMAT requirements and risks; 2) Makes recommendations to assign buildings, classrooms, and training areas to school departments to maximize asset utilization; 3) Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and custodial services for assigned building, grounds, and training areas to ensure minimal disruption to mission; 4) Prepare, process, and submit work orders for, fax and phone support for command buildings and grounds and follow-up on work orders to ensure timely execution; 5) Plan, manage, analyze, and coordinate current and future logistics support requirements in the property management, property accountability, supply, maintenance, repair, movement, and transportation areas..Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
