This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Civilian of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: As Chief, Police/Provost Marshal Division, is technically and administratively responsible for the law enforcement operations at a medium garrison within the Installation Management Command (IMCOM).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1)Leading or supervising employees in the area of law enforcement operations/work;2) Coordinating developmental and/or training needs of employees; and 3)Enforcing laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures pertaining to law enforcement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
