OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

This announcement uses the OPM Federal Wide direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

Requirements:

For GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience :

• Experience planning, directing and coordinating special studies and designs.
• Experience researching and analyzing data.
• Experience presenting documented research that supports strategic planning efforts.
• Experience applying various methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.

For GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience:

• Experience researching and analyzing data.
• Experience presenting documented research that supports strategic planning efforts.
• Experience or knowledge of creating reports and presentations of data analyses.
• Experience applying various methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.
