This position is assigned to the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department; Fleet Readiness (N92); Commander, Navy Region Naval District Washington; NSF Indian Head, Md. Incumbent serves as a Recreation Aide, providing customer service and support for the Bowling CenterFront Desk and Snack Bar as well as Auto Hobby.Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic food handling techniques.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the basic rules and requirements of bowling.
- Knowledge of the activities and assigned area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Ability to read and understand written material.
- Ability to work tactfully and be courteous of others.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
- Ability to perform routine housekeeping tasks.
- Ability to present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to notify manager on duty.
