Description:
You will serve as the Senior Aerospace Engineer and Technical Lead for the Structures Engineering Division of the E-2/C-2 Multi-Platform Fleet Support Team at FRCSW, North Island. In this role, you will develop and implement technical standards and policies that support workforce growth and technical excellence, while overseeing technical products and advising leadership on major engineering challenges.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 Grade Level or equivalent pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Applying in-depth knowledge of principles and practices of air vehicle engineering to accomplish program goals and objectives; (2) Developing technical products and selecting appropriate approach for given situation and guidelines to obtain efficient and effective results; (3) Overseeing large and complex air vehicle engineering programs/structure for an organization; (4) Demonstrated job experience and understanding of fixed-wing, rotary wing, and/or vertical flight aircraft systems and subsystems, industrial processes, maintenance concepts, and operation plans to formulate technical work and make final decisions on technical problems and concerns; and (5) Providing technical counsel and engineering guidance to internal and external contacts in support of agency mission and program/project requirements.Additional education and qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
