THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D22499P01 and is part of the NC ANG, National Guard ( ANG-145th SFS/ Position 102882934 / 108086234 ).
POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO NIGHT SHIFT WORK.
Requirements:
Military Grades: Enlisted (E2 to E7)Minimum Requirements: Must have understanding of the basic principles and concepts of military security forces functions, laws, policies, regulations, rules, procedures, and methods. Also, have general experience performing functions such as weapon systems and resource security, air base defense, law enforcement; and, if applicable for the position, experience in handling military working dog functions or combat arms functions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have least one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 level or the equivalent experiences in performing practical security force (SF) activities in direct support of the military weapon systems and physical security; law and order; or area security operations. Work experiences are in law enforcement, maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, and protecting life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of military installations. Has experiences in protecting federal property from hazards such as sabotage, espionage, trespass, theft, fire, and accident or willful damage and destruction. Has experiences in responding to disaster and relief operations and participates in contingencies.
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Completion of high school or General Equivalency Diploma is mandatory. Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified.
