You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the NAVY SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVSUP) FLCJ of NAVSTA MAYPORT.Requirements:

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including; 1) Operating equipment to control the movement of petroleum products, including receiving, storing, transferring, and issuing bulk fuels from storage tanks, ships, and barges by managing pipelines, valves, and pumps in accordance with written and verbal instructions; 2) Monitoring and controlling fuel transfer operations using electronic remote control boards, observing pressure gauges, and calculating fuel flow rates to maintain proper tank levels and system pressure; and 3) Using computer-based programs to maintain operational data and records, adhering to all safety regulations, and completing required training for fuel handling procedures. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
