Description:
This position is in Technical Services Directorate, Quality Control Team. The incumbent will be responsible for exercising wide latitude in applying independent judgment and make determinations (i.e., airworthiness) that inform senior management’s technical direction, policy, and procedural changes that impact safety, regulatory compliance, national security and the working conditions of assigned technicians.Requirements:
To qualify for this position at the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes:
- Experience with regulatory framework in program operations.
-Experience analyzing and resolving complex and/or sensitive problems related to quality assurance and quality control systems.
-Experience overseeing maintenance activities in accordance with the regulatory framework, established standards, policies, practices and procedures.
-Experience negotiating and leading efforts to achieve the goals and objectives of a certified maintenance program.
