You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the PROGRAM MANAGEMENT GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.The F-35 Lightning II Program is bringing cutting-edge technology to the battlespace of the future and providing asymmetrical advantage to today's warfighters across the glove. With technologically advanced airframe, logistics, avionics and propulsion systems, this multi-role fighter jet is the world's foremost stealthy, lethal, supportable and survivable aircraft to dominate the sky.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band (DA-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition;
2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies;
3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources;
4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and
5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
