You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Auxiliary Systems Division Code 250, Engineering Department Code 200 of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience with Auxiliary Systems demonstrating proficiency in the areas of Fleet Technical Assistance, Assessments and Inspections, Repair Recommendations, Repair Oversight and Logistics Support.
- Experience fostering internal and external change to meet command/department/ division/branch goals and maintain a mission vision consistent with a continuously changing environment.
- Experience creating an inclusive workplace that fosters equal employment, developing and mentoring, instilling cooperation, teamwork and resolves conflicts to inspire people to meet the organization's vision, mission and goals.
- Experience and broad technical knowledge of naval shipboard systems and components through experience in ship repair, operation, or troubleshooting.
- Experience utilizing knowledge and understanding of the command and other DOD, naval and private sector organizations sufficient to develop networks, build alliances and relationships, accurately identify internal and external politics that would impact the work of the command/department/division/branch and act accordingly, and build consensus and gain cooperation across boundaries to achieve common goals.
