You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the AIR OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, GROUND ELECTRONICS MAINTENANCE DIVISION of NAVSTA.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing technical airfield electronic work for compliance with regulations; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing airfield electronic equipment, air traffic control UHF/VHF communications systems, and FM mobile and handheld communications systems to solve complex technical problems or improve system performance; 3) Evaluating equipment design to improve or enhance circuit and system operation; and 4) Using applicable test equipment, test methods and practices as related to Air Traffic Control Communications Systems.QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS:
A minimum of five years in administration, management and electronic maintenance supervision of a large communication radio facility, an airport communication/navigation aids facility, or a ship or aircraft squadron electronics or avionics division.
