You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest, Compliance and Quality Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Quality Assurance Specialist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Leading development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) policies and inspection processes across the production areas and programs; (2) Recommending process changes and quality control strategies that reduce systemic defects and mitigate risk, while acting as the primary Action Point for customer complaints in product quality deficiency reports (PQDR/AIDR); (3) Conducting inspections and audits of materials, products, processes, and services for conformance to specifications and requirements; (4) Analyzing data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality or verification program; and (5) Coordinating directly with customers, external suppliers, and higher authorities on product quality issues, investigation outcomes, and policy interpretations.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
