THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This is a Permanent WG-8852-12 AIRCRAFT INSPECTOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0393000 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop. This is a bargaining position.
Requirements:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CW2 (W-2)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must possess experience or training which has provided you with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components; make adjustments and settings according to established specifications; and skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to conduct inspections and evaluations for the purpose of determining the depth and scope of the necessary repair, overhaul and/or modification required to return such aircraft or components to a serviceable condition; determine parts and labor costs and compare against repairable limits; proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans, blueprints, and schematic diagrams; and the ability to evaluate damage, estimate maintenance, parts, and manpower requirements, diagnose malfunctions, and employ testing and inspection techniques.
