Description:

The incumbent plays a vital role in coordinating and overseeing security projects impacting the Congressional district office environment. This position emphasizes collaboration and communication with key partners, including the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP), and security vendors. Responsibilities include coordinating assessments, facilitating installations and maintenance, as well as inventory management.

  • Stakeholder Management - Knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence, and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to the U.S. House of Representatives and the Sergeant at Arms.
  • Strategic Planning - Leads and develops the Sergeant at Arms' organizational strategies by setting priorities, formulating objectives, managing resources and risks, implementing plans, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes.
