Requirements:

To qualify for the Second Offset Pressperson, applicants must meet the following Screen Out-Element: #1 - Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision.
Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT ELEMENT below is not sufficient, you will not receive further consideration.
In addition to the SCREENOUT, applicants must also have the ability to perform the following:
Assigning and managing workloads
Setting up, adjusting, operating, inspecting and maintaining multi-color offset sheet-fed presses (up to 7 units with split fountains) and screen-printing presses
Printing passports and other security and quality work according to specifications
Installing plates and blankets on press; examining plates for obvious defects

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
