This vacancy is for a GS-0501-9, Financial Management Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION FACILITY ALAMEDA in ALAMEDA, California.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
- Monitoring obligations, developing, gathering and analyzing financial data, reconciliation and oversight of accounts.
- Researching and resolving errors related to orders, deliveries and billing, track orders, monitor corrective action plans.
- Participating in financial audits, performing auditing assignments while applying financial principles, methods, techniques and procedures.
- Managing spreadsheets using software such as Microsoft Excel or other programs
Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
OR
A combination of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in or related to the work of this position and graduate level education that provided the specific knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
