Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Planning, directing, and reviewing the activities of police officers; assigning work to subordinate police officers; observing and evaluating the work performance of police officers; Participating in investigations; utilizing basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and/or techniques involved for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09.)
