To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Secure Room), KX-4401-3 position, you must meet the following requirements:Applicants must meet the following SCREEN OUT/JOB ELEMENT #1 Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Security Room)(Screenout), without more than normal supervision, to be considered eligible for the position. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of this position. These duties include: packing, labeling, loading, stacking, and inspecting printed material for quality while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Candidates will be required to Operate, Inspect, and perform routine maintenance on disintegrator and baler equipment to feed and process material and identify basic operational issues. Operate production machines to process materials and follow established operating procedures and safety requirements i.e. hand banding, automatic paper jogging and automatic boxing machine.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
