This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Plans and schedules assigned and anticipated workload. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing police officers and conducting current/long range operations planning based on funding, staffing requirements, workload, trends and mission requirements in the areas of law enforcement and security functions; distributing work and resources, as well as management of supplies and training; and developing methods and procedures affecting the overall police mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service or equivalent to (GS-09).
