Description:
You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER team lead in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE on the E-2C/D Support Equipment team, BL23500.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .1. Providing technical ownership of SE projects, including designing, testing, fielding and/or in-service support of aviation support equipment.
2. Managing the engineering change process, utilizing innovative techniques/solutions and providing guidance to resolve configuration management issues.
3. Conducting Engineering Investigations and providing solutions to fleet support activities.
4. Generating Engineering Change Proposals and drafting Technical Directives for release to fleet activities to address support equipment performance, obsolescence and safety issues.
