Description:

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for servicing as a program analyst responsible for the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of Security Cooperation (SC) programs and their execution.

Requirements:

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods to assess the effectiveness of Security Cooperation (SC) programs and ensure compliance with governing policies and procedures
  • Develop and propose new or revised program guidance, regulations, and policies based on the analysis of program effectiveness and knowledge of SC legislation
  • Plan and organize program reviews or special studies to resolve substantive issues affecting program execution
  • Communicate complex program analysis, findings, and policy recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, both orally through briefings and in writing through reports
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
