This position is for a HR SPECIALIST COMPENSATION/RECRUITMENT/PLACEMENT, PD# D1040P01, part of the Nevada Army National Guard. The purpose of the position is to provide support for recruitment and placement, military technician compatibility, permanent change of station moves, pay setting, recruitment/retention/relocation 3R incentives, advanced in-hire rates, and reduction-in-force actions. Work is performed for either Army or Air National Guard full-time employees within the State.Requirements:

Must possess 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to:
Experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-07) performing developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established, and several specific guidelines exist; independently performing recurring assignments of limited, but gradually increasing, difficulty and complexity; participating in special initiatives, studies, and projects; and preparing written correspondence and other documentation.
