Recreation Assistant (Community Center)

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.

Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
