This vacancy is for a GS - 2210 - 11, IT Cybersecurity Specialist (DATAMGT) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, OAKLAND BUSINESS OPERATIONS SECTION OAKLAND, CA.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 11 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
- Providing technical support and assistance for computer-aided design (CAD) and geospatial information system (GIS) hardware and software; or assisting with the maintenance and management electronic document and data management systems.
- Monitoring contractor compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, and service level agreements.
- Assisting with maintenance and controlling content on external internet web pages; or assisting with implementing data governance and records management; or assisting with managing and administering data, permissions, and user access.
- Assisting with hardware maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of server hardware and software; or assisting with patches, and configurations to ensure operational performance; or assisting with applying cybersecurity principles to protect system integrity.
- Assisting with the maintenance of IT hardware, peripherals, and software applications; or assisting with system deployment and implementation activities.
NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level.
