You will serve as a Civil Engineer in the Infrastructure Acquisition Support Branch (Code 1022), Infrastructure Division (Code 102), Corporate Operations Department of NSWC PHILA DIV.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer leading infrastructure repair or modernization projects to provide technical requirements and to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Examples may include preforming Sustainment, Repair and Maintenance (SRM) activities on facilities, utilities, and grounds; maintaining and repairing infrastructures such as: Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC); electrical supply and distribution; roofing; plumbing, fire alarms, industrial cooling water, and elevator equipment and systems; and annotating drawings/sketches, writing statements of work, and preparing construction/repair cost estimates to support the technical requirements of facility projects.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
