You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of FLEET WEATHER CENTER SAN DIEGO.Requirements:
FOR THE GS-13:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience applying cybersecurity principles and project management principles to: develop plans for cybersecurity programs that anticipate, identify, and minimize risks associated with cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Experience applying mastery of, in-depth knowledge, and judicious application of IS security, technology, and management best practices to achieve and maintain cybersecurity compliance and effective IS security program.
- Experience applying mastery of, and skill in, interpreting and developing IA policies sufficient to direct the command's IA program, including, but not limited to: cross-department tasking to integrate IA in all systems across security disciplines; new policy development; instructions to implement policies; and communicate complex security requirements necessary to maintain IS security.
FOR THE GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience applying cybersecurity principles and project management principles to: develop plans for cybersecurity programs.
- Experience applying knowledge, and judicious application of IS security, technology, and management best practices to achieve and maintain cybersecurity compliance and effective IS security program.
- Experience applying skill in, interpreting and developing IA policies sufficient to direct the command's IA program, including, but not limited to: cross-department tasking to integrate IA in all systems across security disciplines; new policy development; instructions to implement policies; and communicate complex security requirements necessary to maintainIS security.
