The Arts and Crafts Center provides a wide variety of services to the base. We host a variety of arts and craft classes for children and adults, to include our "Paint and Sip" nights. Our facility offers crafts made by local crafters like painted Alaska themed wooden bears, saws, Alaska themed items along with crocheted items, and moose shaped planters.APPLICATIONS WILL BE PULLED FRIDAYS AT 8:00AM UNTIL POSITION IS FILLED.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly and accurately in English.
- Ability to safeguard and handle cash.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 25 pounds and be able to work in a dusty environment.
- Position requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- No experience required.
