This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division, HR Data and Systems Section.This position(s) primary purpose is to lead the development, management, and implementation of a holistic multi-year Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) strategy providing a technical roadmap while leveraging current technology solutions; and to analyze and interpret a variety of HR data to identify strategies and initiatives impacting HR related areas.

Applicants applying for the GS-15 must meet one of the following requirements:
A. Have at least one full year of qualifying specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-14 grade level. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Qualifying experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, maintaining, and analyzing HR data and systems; 2) Identifying HR process inefficiencies and implementing system solutions; 3) Overseeing the performance of full cycle HRIS projects; and 4) Advising senior leadership on HR technology solutions and policy implications.
