You will serve as a Transportation Assistant in the Industrial Support Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service applying a body of standardized transportation regulations, procedures and operations to perform a full range of duties including selecting modes or carriers, consolidating shipments, coordinating connections, responding to inquiries and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the movement process when moving a variety of high valued freight and commodities, classified materials and/or hazardous and dangerous commodities which require specialized handling. Must possess proficiency in using a computer terminal and an automated transportation system and software to input, extract and create new files, reports and documents.
