To qualify at the GS-07 , you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05. Must include initiating, coordinating, monitoring, and tracking the procurement of critical assets and equipment; coordinating science and engineering related budgetary monitoring (including oversite of Policy and Administration budgets) and coordinating the procurement of supplies and services; provides program analysis.
You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. You may combine specialized experience and education to meet the minimum qualifications.
To qualify at the GS-09 , you must possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-7 level; Must include initiating, coordinating, monitoring, and tracking the procurement of critical assets and equipment; coordinating science and engineering related budgetary monitoring (including oversite of Policy and Administration budgets) and coordinating the procurement of supplies and services; provides program analysis, interpretation of applicable Department and Agency regulations, and make recommendations to the senior leaders for the modification of internal practices and policies to promote the efficiency of the mission and related services in compliance with Department and Agency regulations.
You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
The superior academic achievement provision is to be used to determine eligibility for applicable GS-07 level positions of persons who have completed (or expect to complete within 9 months) all the requirements for bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a qualifying grade point average (GPA), class standing, or honors society.
