This position is part of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent independently plans and manages all production aspects to live stream major Events involving senior DoD officials, including the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff and Combatant Commanders, speaking on behalf of the Department of Defense.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-12 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
- Work as an executive producer by independently planning and managing all production aspects to record and/or live stream multi-camera complex events on behalf of senior leaders; following the business rules for media management, prioritizing multiple tasks, adhering to strict deadlines under pressure, and chairing necessary meetings to ensure consistent communication of desired outcome and expectation fulfillment.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 1071 series.
Individual Occupational Requirements for GS-12 and above.
A. Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.

B. Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes work directly connected with the production aspects of the field(s) of the position to be filled.
