You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Security Department, Command Operations Division,of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Security Assistant work. I have the comprehensive knowledge of the command, state, and federal rules, regulations and procedures to answer routine and emergency requests for information and/or react appropriately to routine or emergency situations. Specialized experience duties includes the following: 1) Operating radio communication equipment.2) Receiving incoming telephone or alarm systems calls.3) Maintaining logbooks/records.4) Operating electronic computer-based systems for emergency (Police, fire, and or EMS) dispatching management.5) Working on multiple equipment/systems (alarm systems, dispatch recording devices, multi-channel radios) during emergency situations.6) Disseminating information from incoming callers during emergency situations.7) Effectively carrying out several tasks at the same time such as operating radios, telephones, and typing while efficiently communicating with the public, police, fire, and/or medical personnelAdditional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
