Requirements:

Specialized Experience: To be eligible at the GS-11 level, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal sector. Specialized experience is defined as providing routine assistance to crime victims and witnesses before or during court hearings and trials, and, assessing their needs for assistance; providing routine referrals to crime victims, their families and witnesses; and, supporting outreach and collaboration efforts with local, state and federal law enforcement personnel and social service organizations to increase resources and services to serve crime victims.

Education : One of the following types of education in a related field (e.g., (e.g., Criminal Justice; Criminology; Law; or Social Work): a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.

Combination of Specialized Experience and Education : Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination, graduate education must be in excess of 2 full years

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
