Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of port operations, industry practices and procedures, and regulations, requirements, and techniques related to marine transportation to dispatch and coordinate the movement of various vessels; 2) Demonstrating knowledge of port operation functions such as: tug operations, service craft, pilots, berthing, diving operations, docking evolutions, and hotel services; 3) Using computerized systems' applications, including Microsoft Office software, and equipment techniques, capabilities, and limitations; and 4) Using Marine Industry language terms to effectively communicate with underway-maritime personnel, navy, civilians, and contractors.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards
