Requirements:
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). 1. Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to prepare and deliver written and oral communications on logistics matters to different stakeholders and leadership.
2. Experience in logistics, with demonstrated skills in supply chain functions (such as inventory, distribution, warehouse, and transportation management), and/or government property administration (including accountable records management, contract compliance, and property disposal for Lost, Damaged, and Destroyed (LDD) items).
3. Experience in asset lifecycle management, supply chain management, logistics management, property administration, and/or property disposal.
4. Experience applying root cause analysis (RCA) to supply chain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and recommend process improvements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in logistics or supply chain management, or a related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, or a related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. -AND- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: DAWIA certification may be required for this position; see Position License and Certification Requirements below for additional details.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:
1. Experience managing Government Furnished Property (GFP) in compliance with NGA policies, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR).
2. Experience managing Capitalized Property in accordance with the Financial Management Regulation (FMR).
3. Experience in data management and performing data analysis on large logistical population of data.
4. Experience with planning, coordinating and evaluating logistical actions required to support missions, systems, and/or programs.
5. Experience applying Lean methodologies, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) principles, and/or other process improvements across the full asset lifecycle (Acquire to Retire/A2R).
6. Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Foundational-level Certification in Life Cycle Logistics (LCL).
7. Experience working independently on routine assignments.
