Description:
Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Recreation, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); NBK Bremerton.Requirements:
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
- Must be able to use simple kitchen equipment and use common kitchen utensils.
- Must know the operation of bake, holding ovens and pizza makers.
- Must be able to relate inventory levels to purchasing requirements; and understand food storage and sanitation requirements.
- Must be able to operate a cash register.
- Must be able to follow recipes and combine ingredients for pizza, salads and other menu items.
