This is a National Guard Title 5 Excepted Service Position.
This position is a Temporary GS-0018-11 SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5545000 and is part of the MO 131st Bomb Wing. This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education and/or training which provided you with a good understanding of administrative methods for accomplishing the work of an organization. This experience must reflect the ability to analyze problems, come up with practical solutions, and to communicate effectively with others.GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least one year of specialized experience at the GS 09 grade level or equivalent provided the ability to provide perform periodic/unscheduled inspections of base facilities, warehouses, and equipment maintenance operations and evaluated compliance with applicable regulations and hazard system; recommended measures and methods to correct safety and occupational health deficiencies; participate in planning for testing of munitions, and assure integration of explosive safety criteria in testing procedures and reviewed test implementation directives for inclusion of appropriate safety criteria. This specialized experience must also include preparing supplements to regulations and manuals for aircraft weapons safety and developed local regulations defining applicable mishap prevention procedures.
