Description:
This position is located in the Office of Field Operations (Programs) National Center for Explosives Training and Research (NCETR), Explosives Enforcement and Training Division (EETD), Advanced Explosives Branch, Advanced Explosives Disposal Techniques located in Huntsville, AL. The position has two principal purposes: 1) Manage specific law enforcement programs and/or conduct special long-range and/or large-scale projects encompassing the overall mission or program of the assigned organization.Requirements:
To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
Specialized experience must include all of:
- Create and manage policies and/or guidance; AND;
- Provide leadership to others such as workgroups, teams or special projects; AND;
- Communicate orally and in writing (i.e. reports and briefings).
