This vacancy is for a WG - 2805-10,Electrician located in the Department of Homeland Security,
U.S. Coast Guard, INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION FACILITY MIAMI in MIAMI BEACH, Florida.

Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope, and quality of all experience and training, regardless of where or how acquired.

Job Element #1: Ability To Do the Work of the Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen-out Element) to be considered eligible for the position. To meet the screen-out, examples of the duties includes operation and installation of a variety of complete electrical systems and equipment, such as series, parallel, and compound circuits for single and multiple phase alternating current of varying voltage, amperage, and frequency; wiring systems in industrial complexes and buildings; and power or regulating and control circuits and distribution panels to industrial machinery, ships' control equipment, computers or laboratory and other electrical equipment.

  • Troubleshooting (Electrical)
