Description:

A successful candidate will serve as a General Engineer or Physical Scientist in the NNSA's Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs responsible for professional Program Management and Technical duties that accomplish the NNSA mission for the Nuclear Security Enterprise.

Requirements:

Specialized Experience: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level (EN-00 or GS-11) in the Federal Service.


Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience conducting at least 3 of the following activities:

  1. Providing advice and guidance on resolving issues, conditions and problems.
  2. Evaluating contractual proposals and preparing cost estimates.
  3. Overseeing contracted construction projects and/or programs.
  4. Providing oversight and support on team-based projects.
  5. Coordinating engineering and scientific aspects of operations related projects and/or program segments
