THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR) , Position Description Number PDD2303000 and PDD2306000 and is part of the WY 153d Operations Support Squadron , Wyoming Air National Guard.
This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows:
Area 1 : All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to 153 OSS.
Area 2 : All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4 : All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6 : Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of aircraft weight and balance computations; aircraft performance data; aircraft records maintenance; and aircraft systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience with electrical, communication, navigation, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems applying to aircraft and related systems; flight theory; minor in-flight maintenance; personal equipment and oxygen use; aircraft emergency procedures; and using and interpreting diagrams, schematics, aircraft performance charts, loading charts, technical publications and flight manuals.
GS-9 Qualification Entry Requirements : Must meet AFSC 1A1X2L, Mobile Force Aviation ASVAB requirements as listed below.
GS-10 Qualification Requirements : Must be certified as a Flight Engineer (Instructor) and include completion certificate with application.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess AFSC 1A132L, Mobility Force Aviator or higher.
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
Must possess a valid state's driver's license.
