This National Guard position is for a STAFF ACCOUNTANT (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T58276P1 and is part of the FL USPFO, National Guard.Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Exceptive Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)" and is open to on board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) federal employees/technicians (T5-ONLY) within the agency. Tenure can be in block 24 on your latest SF 50.PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

Degree: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience analyzing accounting work related to the development and execution of many military and civilian policies and programs. Experience conducting performance accounting reviews and conducting activities related to the detection of fraud, waste, and abuse. Experience researching, analyzing, problem-solving and performing work that follows established accounting methods and procedures.
