Requirements:
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability in the delivery of safe and effective fitness programs. This experience must demonstrate skill in conducting fitness programs for a diverse population understanding the various health risks contained therein. Has the knowledge of and ability to apply the principles, methods, and techniques in an individual or group setting.
OR
Successful completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology. (Transcript must be uploaded with application).
Please Note: In order to meet the minimum requirements for experience, your experience must be clearly stated in your resume. In order to substitute experience for education, transcripts must be submitted at time of application for consideration. Incomplete applications will be rated as ineligible.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred:
Certification in Specialized Program Instructor Area i.e. Individual Fitness Assessment, Benefits of Exercise, and Group Exercise. (Certification must be uploaded with application).
