Description:
You will serve as the Deputy Director in the Navy Cryptologic Office in Fort Meade, MD. As the principal advisor to the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service-level Director, you will deliver critical representational impact connecting and informing the width and breadth of a three star-level Flag Officer staff in the Commander's role as the force provider for Navy Signals Intelligence and Cybersecurity manpower, personnel, training, and equipping issues.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:1. Direct task definition, prioritization, and execution as the immediate supervisor for combined military and civilian staff.
2. Advise leadership on mission execution, ensure optimal resource use and compliance, and articulate the office's interests to national security organizations.
3. Provide support and representation of the Commander's priorities and strategy in executive-level meetings and intelligence community forums.
4. Shape Signals Intelligence policy and integrate the component into agency processes, direct technical control of cryptologic resources to synchronize missions.
5. Advocate for joint force commander needs and a modern cryptologic architecture, provide Navy input to corporate planning and budgeting, and facilitate technical control of cryptologic elements to optimize resources and synchronize missions.
